Large Table Gratuity

A 20% gratuity can be added for large tables at the server's discretion. This adds a required 20% tip to the printed bill.

In Clover, this required gratuity is called a Service Charge.

Prerequisite

An order must be open on screen.

  • Continuing from another workflow: the order is already open — continue below.
  • Returning to an existing order: find it on the Tables tab or Bar Tab and tap to open.

On Station

  1. Tap the three dots on the bottom bar
  2. Select Add Service Charge (20.0%)

The service charge shows up right away on the order summary.

On Flex

  1. Tap the green Pay button (top left) → tap the three dots (bottom right)
  2. Select Add Service Charge (20.0%)
