Moving Guests
Guests can be moved to a new table or join an already seated table.
Prerequisite
An order must be open on screen.
- Continuing from another workflow: the order is already open — continue below.
- Returning to an existing order: find the order for the table or bar area where the guest is currently seated. Tap to open.
On Station
- In the order summary on the left, find the guest's row → tap three dots → tap Move Guest
- Select the Bar or Tables tab depending on the destination
- Select the bar or table order to move the guest to
After the move, the previous order displays without that guest. To see the moved guest on the new order, tap the back button in the bottom navigation menu (back arrow), then select the Bar or Tables area and tap the destination table. The moved guest appears on the order summary with a notation in parentheses showing which table they came from.
On Flex
- Tap the green pay button to open the order summary
- Find the guest → tap three dots on their guest row → tap Move Guest
- Select the destination Bar or Tables area
- Select the table number to move the guest to
After the move, the previous order opens without that guest.
Reminder
If the guest was a member and assigned to the old order, the membership assignment will need to be manually moved to the new order. Unassign the member from the previous order and reassign to the new order. See Updating Orders → Reassign Member.
