Load a Clover Gift Card

From the home screen, open the Gift Cards app.

Before loading money onto a Clover gift card, check its balance to determine whether it is already activated. Swipe the gift card — the POS shows either the current balance or a dialog reporting the card is not active.

If the card is already activated

The current balance displays.

1. Tap Add Money
2. Select the amount of money to add → tap Next
3. Follow the payment screen to complete the order

If the card is not activated

Activating the card and loading it with money happen in the same step.

1. Select Sell Gift Card from the main menu
2. Select the amount of cash to load → tap Next
3. Swipe the gift card
4. Complete the payment screen to activate the card

The gift card balance prints with the receipt.
