Add & Remove Items

Prerequisite

An order must be open on screen.

  • Continuing from Opening Orders: the order is already open — continue below.
  • Returning to an existing order: find it on the Tables tab or Bar Tab and tap to open.

Reminder

Ensure the guest count is correct. If needed, see Updating Orders → Modify Guest Count.

Add an item

For multi-guest orders, ensure the correct guest is selected prior to adding items. Tap whole table for shared items, or tap the specific guest. On Station, the guest list is in the order summary on the left. On Flex, guests appear as icons to the right of the green dollar box — scroll horizontally to see more.

Next, select the category for the item from the categories bar:

  • On Station: second column from the left, to the right of the order summary.
  • On Flex: third row from the top — slide horizontally to see more categories.

Items in the selected category appear below (on Flex) or to the right (on Station). Tap an item name once to add it to the order. Each tap adds one count of the item.

If the item requires modifier choices, the modifier options display after the item is tapped.

Custom Modifiers

  1. Tap the item from the order summary
  2. Tap the Custom Modifier box to open the keyboard

There is only one custom modifier entry field. To add multiple custom modifiers, use the newline button on the keyboard to separate them.

Remove an item

Steps vary by device:

  • On Station: find the item on the left order panel → tap it once → tap Delete.
  • On Flex: tap the green dollar box (top left) to open the order → find the item → tap it → tap Delete.
