Transfer Server

Transfer an order to a different server. Use this when:

• A server's shift ends while their order is still open
• A customer moves between the bar and a table, so the order passes between the bartender and a server. Use this together with Updating Orders → Moving Guests.

Prerequisite

An order must be open on screen.

• Continuing from another workflow: the order is already open — continue below.
• Returning to an existing order: find it on the Tables tab or Bar Tab and tap to open.

On Station

1. Tap the three dots to the right of the Pay button → under Orders & Servers, tap Transfer Server
2. Type the name of the server to transfer to
3. Tap the correct role → tap Transfer

On Flex

1. Tap the green Pay button (top left) → tap the three dots (bottom right) → tap Transfer Server
2. Type the name of the server to transfer to
3. Tap the correct role → tap Transfer
